Company Description

Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd. (CFCL) is a developer of high-efficiency electricity generators for residential and light-commercial applications. Using fuel cell technology, CFCL products generate electricity at up to 60 percent electrical efficiency - the highest level of electrical efficiency in a small scale device.

Formed in 1992 from a leading Government research organization, CFCL is now publically listed on the UK and Australian stock exchange [code: CFU] and employs over 100 staff. CFCL has a purpose built fuel cell assembly factory in Germany and is commercializing the Company’s first product - BlueGen® world-wide.

About the size of a small washing machine, BlueGen® is a 2 kW modular generator operating on Natural Gas. Each BlueGen® is designed to operate continuously and can produce more than 13,000 kWh of low-emission electricity per year. CFCL is in the late stages of commercialization with extensive field trials in Europe, Japan, Australia and now the USA.
