Company Description

KiOR is a next generation renewable fuels company that produces a crude oil substitute. The company’s proprietary technology platform enhances nature’s method of making oil, converting non-food biomass into a renewable crude oil substitute in a matter of seconds. Renewable crude oil is refined into a variety of gasoline and diesel blendstocks that are compatible with our country’s existing transportation fuel infrastructure and create significant societal and environmental benefits. KiOR believes that, among alternative fuels, renewable crude oil is the best near-term solution for reducing our dependence on foreign oil, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and creating high-quality jobs and economic benefits for rural America.
