Clean Technology Testing & Pilot Partner Identification Program
The Clean Technology Testing & Pilot Partner Identification Programs (cleanTest) and Utility Technology Challenges are open to all companies developing technologies/solutions targeted to utlities and municipalities. Companies that submitted into the 2010 program will be matched to CTSI partners for testing, pilot & implementation opportunities. The submission process assists CTSI in finding the best matches based on the requirements of the utilities and municipalities.
CTSI no longer accepts submissions from technology providers for the 2010 event! The deadline was May 7, 2010 for Round Two. Note: Stay tuned for details on the 2011 program. The application process will begin with Round One in autumn 2010.

Program Requirements:
Companies submitting into the 2010 program should meet the following minimum requirements:
- Company needs to be incorporated with a minimum of 2 employees
- Have technology ready for customer testing (early-stage/beta testing is acceptable)
- The technology/solution should fall into one of the following categories:
- Smart Grid
- Building Efficiency/Management
- Industrial/Commercial Energy Efficiency
- Residential Energy Efficiency
- Demand Response
- Load Management
- Distributed Generation
- Centralized Power Generation
- Energy Storage
- Lighting
- IT
- Transmission & Distribution
- Transportation
- Reliability & Service Management
- Pollution Monitoring & Reduction
- Water
- Waste Management & Recycling
Submission Guidelines & Notifications:
- A maximum of three (3) submissions are allowed per company/large division.
- CTSI may contact the submitting company to verify data/information provided. Companies not responding to information requests are subject to disqualification.
- Only publicly available data should be used in filling out the submission form. The information provided will be seen by CTSI partners and is available for use by the U.S. Department of Energy.
- Companies interested in having their technology evaluated in the Utility Technology Challenge must provide consent in the submission form.
