Utility & Municipal Partners
Clean Technology Testing & Pilot Partner Identification Program
The Clean Technology Testing & Pilot Partner Identification Program (cleanTest) is open to all utilities and municipalities that are interested in identifying new technologies for testing, piloting and community adoption. The program, with support from the US Department of Energy, will run from November 2009 through September 2010. Organizations participating in the program will be provided testing, pilot & implementation opportunities with technology solution providers.
Benefits to participating in the program include:
- Access to information regarding US and global clean technology companies that provides filters and categorization based on solution type, stage of company, product readiness, and existing 3rd party certification/test results.
- Summary report that analyzes the collective needs of utilities and municipalities in the program - providing useful benchmarking and data for project prioritization.
- Discount to participate in the program results showcase Utility Technology Challenge being held in June 2010. Meet with technology providers and peers in dynamic, commercialization forum.
- Save time, money and resources by starting with a qualified list of potential test partners.
There are two ways to participate in the cleanTest program:
- Primary Partner Group (PPG) member
PPG members will participate in a peer discussion group with other utilities, municipalities and major solution providers to assist with the identification and prioritization of needed technologies and to share best practices and testing results. PPG members will drive the Utility Technology Challenge, the selection process of the Top 15 Utility Technologies and have access to full program results. For more information please contact, Chris Erb , (978) 561-1908.
- Identified Testing Partner (ITP)
ITP’s will be given data on the technologies that are submitted into the program that match the criteria selected by the partner. Updates of the overall program and final reports will be distributed to the ITP group next summer. Information gathered from the ITP’s will be used to assist in policy and future test program efforts.
