A Global Projects and Best-Practices Challenge Program
Islands and Isolated Communities are the planet’s vanguard societies facing imported energy
dependencies, constrained resources, and vulnerability to climate change. The Sustainable Islands
Solution Challenge is gathering technology solutions, best practices and project proposals from around
the globe to accelerate the sustainability development of island communities world-wide.
Submit your technology solutions, project proposals, best practices, and community programs for review by a global committee of global development partners. Selected applicants will be invited to present their proposal during the Summit in Honolulu (September 9-11), to a committee of project financing, corporate and governmental development leaders.
